Other than an allergic reaction or initial shedding, can Nizoral 1% shampoo cause hair loss, or continual hair shedding? Also, depending on your answer to the above question, do you think Nizoral 1% shampoo even causes increased initial shedding? Thanks for your help. Keith

1) Other than the usual skin reactions, none that I am aware of, tho I suppose that there might be some idiosyncratic reaction somewhere.
2) Don't know. Nizoral works differently from hair growth stimulators such as minoxidil. It mainly ameliorates seborreic dermatitis, which gives a real effect, but not an extremely large one.
