Concerning other "NANO" products

We have used the "NANO" trademark with respect to skin and hair care products for roughly twenty years. Mainly, it comes from our early work in nanotechnology plus the fact that NANO is an acronym for Nicotinic Acid N-Oxide, one of our favorite ingredients.

Recently, a variety of hair care products have appeared under variations of our "NANO" trademarks. One in particular is "NANOworks", from Pureology, a company recently bought out by L'Oreal.

We only found out about this recently and have complained about this knock-off to L'Oreal. Even worse, the ingredients list of Pureology's products indicate that they likely infringe our patents, as well as our trademarks.

Several of L'Oreal's patents cite our patents as "prior art" in a manner that clearly indicates that they are quite aware of our technology. So this is a true and proper rip-off. Anyway, if it does not say "NANO Shampoo", "NANO Conditioner", etc. and/or refer to Dr. Proctor, it is not our stuff.

Besides which, most of these knock-offs are more expensive than our formulations. Why pay for a knock-off of unknown quality, when you can have the real thing?
